Dina is a native of Forest Hills Queens and raised in Queens, Forest Hills. She grew up there. She moved to Dix Hills Long Island before the close of her senior year in high school. Her siblings include two younger ones and a brother who is older. When she was between the ages of 9 to 16, her first exposure to the world of modeling was when she began modeling. Her career in acting began in The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She studied Sanford Meisner's techniques alongside Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training as did Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton and Diane Keaton are also among those actors who've received similar training. Her debut role was Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to move to Los Angeles. After a few months, she got the role in the role of Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was in charge of almost every stunt and showed herself to be an experienced actress. Through her agent who also represents Matt LeBlanc she scored a part as a guest on Friends.
