Molly lived in Pennsylvania and began to work professionally when she was a teenager in the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first production as a professional was The Snow Queen. Her nomination was for a Barrymore Award nominee for her role of Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production of Into the Woods. Following her Broadway debut, at just 15, she reprised her character and received an award from the Drama League Award. Molly appeared in the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof (2004). In 2008, she earned her B.A. from Princeton University. Then she attended Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and earned a Bachelor's degree in the year 2008. Also, she appeared in Disney's College Road Trip, playing Wendy Greenhut. Following graduation, Molly performed in several Off-Broadway shows, such as End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and in some productions on television, such as Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was in the 2007 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and also in the year 2010 Westport Country Playhouse's performance of The Diary of Anne Frank which she performed as Anne. Molly is best known for her role in the 2010 movie Paranormal Activity 2 in which she portrays a teenaged daughter Ali and the ABC comedy written by Jack Burditt and with Tim Allen entitled Last Man Standing
