Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her career began with supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt in which she was Willa McPherson in the role of reporter. She also appeared in the supporting role on the short-lived series The Ex List. She was Kaylee as a young Moira in the first season of on FX's American Horror Story. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices a number of characters in Family Guy's animated comedy series. She has been the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut until she reached the age of 10, at which point her mother and she relocated to California [1The couple lived there for a year before finally arriving in Mill Valley. Breckenridge became interested in acting, photography and singing at the age of 13. Breckenridge moved back to Los Angeles with the help of her mother when she was 15.
